Good News in Iraq Would Split Dems?

Disclaimer: I'm just an average guy...

In what can only be described as definitive proof of a Democrat loving our country and supporting our troops, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) said yesterday that a positive report on progress in Iraq would be,
"a real big problem for us."

Why would America winning a difficult war be a big problem for Democrats?  Because they've been rooting against our troops ever since they voted to send them into harms way.  They have totally invested their political fortunes in the defeat and embafrassment of Americans in Iraq.

Good news from General Petraeus would be bad news for Dems.  Clyburn knows this, as do the other leaders of the Democrat party.  I guess he just missed the memo that they're not supposed to state their strategy publicly.

And here's some more bad news for the Dems... U.S. troop casualties in Iraq are at their lowest in eight months.  GAST!  This is awful!  This could drastically reduce their predictions for the number of House and Senate seats they will pick up in 2008!

Guess what America... The Majority Whip of the United States House of Representatives, a Democrat, just told us that the success of our troops would be bad for their political party... Still want to put one in the White House?
