I guess San Francisco doesn't feel like they're breaking enough federal laws yet to be truly radical... so here's their newest idea! City health officials hope to spend tax payers' money to set up "safe-injection rooms." They claim that these would offer a safe place "where addicts could shoot up heroin, cocaine, and other drugs under the supervision of nurses." And despite the fact that using these drugs is against the law, they will not have to fear being arrested for using illegal narcotics there.
Here's a better idea... why not spend the money helping them break the habits before they fry their brains and have to spend the rest of their lives on government assistance (a.k.a. federal tax dollars) because they can't hold a job or even stop screaming at the imaginary people who keep talking to them.
It's ironic... San Francisco will not allow our brave military men to shoot a commercial on the streets of their city, but the red carpet is rolled out for junkies... makes perfect sense.
