Here's an update to a post from last week. It's official. Portland, Maine middle schools will now be offering birth control pills to girls as young as 11, without parental permission. Most schools still can't give students over-the-counter asprin, but prescription pills in Portland are fine...
I have no overt objection to birth control and if parents want to give it to their own teenagers, then that is their choice. It should not be forced on them by government.
