You're not going to believe this, but science is now telling us that our sex-saturated society not only has physical, but psychological consequenses as well. The American Psychological Association just published a study, which prompted one researcher, Dr. Eileen L. Zurbriggen (University of California, Santa Cruz) to conclude, "The consequences of the sexualization of girls in the media today are very real and are likely to be a negative influence on girls' healthy development."
Wow... sex is not all fun and games, it has serious consequences. Who would have ever thought? (note sarcasm)
What do you want to bet that the findings of this study will not be included in Sex Ed classes in our public schools though? I'm not holding my breath...
