Here's what I think anyway... I posted "A Water-Tight Case for Securing the Border" last week. ABC News' Brian Ross has now made the case air tight. Ross, quoting an FBI intelligence report, says that "Iraqis and other Middle Eastern" people are now being smuggled accross our southern border.
These are well-paying individuals, too. They're paying between $20,000 and $25,000 each to be smuggled into the U.S. That sounds like a little bit more than the average Iraqi can come up with... Who's financing them?
I guess I just don't buy the idea that these are just poor Iraqis, fleeing their war-torn country in search of a better life. These are terrorists, sneaking into the U.S. in order to set up cells that will attack and kill innocent Americans.
