Disclaimer: I'm just an average guy with an above average interest in news and politics. But hey, here's what I think anyway...
What I think... Gee. I wonder where the "objective" panel is going to come down on this one...
Using the predictible Liberal tactic of claiming to be completely objective while the opposition is simply ideological, and then attempting to silence that opposition, the American Psycological Association has set out to demonize (if not outlaw) "Reparative Therapy" (also known as "Conversion Therapy"). That is the process by which a willing patient seeks treatment for their homosexual desires.
Of course, gay rights groups won't tolerate that kind of bigotry in our society. How dare an individual repress their homosexual tendencies. That person just has no right to be straight whether they want to be or not!
Oh, and by the way, the APA has stacked their panel with known gay-rights activists, intentionally omitting the conservative view point. Still they pompously claim that their findings will be based solely on "science," not "ideology."
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhht....
With a report due out in March of 2008 (just in time for the Democrat's nominee for the White House to use it for political purposes), I wonder where the "objective" panel is going to come down on this issue...
